That I've had since October. And therefore, not much traveling is happening to write about anymore.
So what should I write about? That's the question that I've been asking myself since my last travel in September, and still asking myself till now... Well, I'm not stopping to write about places I've been, it's just that it became far less frequent, and with my "frequency" with writing, you can imagine how often (or rather not) this blog will be populated.
I have to admit, I did think about what to do with my blog to make it highly readable and maybe make some money out of it, but in that case my options are: Clothes, celebrities, fashion, cooking or sex, which rules out the money making option for me, being not interested to write about any of the above.
So I decided to go random, write about whatever, whenever I feel like it. Why not? I do write for myself in the first place, other readers just come as a bonus.
And therefore...
Randomness here I come!
Or old neighbor...that settled down and fell in love with cats and various hand crafts :)

Madurodam ... or I'm a giant
Just when I was thinking that my next blog is going to be about what to write next since I'm not traveling around that much anymore, and won't be in the future either due to a job change, I get stranded in Amsterdam airport for 6 hours.

Stockholm syndrome: Sunday
Woke up with no plans for the day, no special requests either :), so I suggested a walk to Sodermalm, passed Riddar holmen on the way, which is probably the first isle to be populated in today's Stockholm, and crossed from there to Soder.
Stockholm syndrome: Saturday
No, I haven't been held hostage and started sympathizing with the offender, unless you can consider my husband taking me to Stockholm without me knowing where I was going a kidnap, so he's the offender and I def. sympathize with that particular man, so...

Vienna...aahhh
From all the cities I've visited in my life, there are only a few where the thought "hmmm, I could live here" crossed my mind. This one was exactly one of those. It's been a few months now, I'm sure some place names and details must have faded away but the feeling still remains. The city is beautiful, cosy and just one of those places where you feel comfortable, a place you feel safe even if you got lost.

Germany once more: Christmas shoppiiiiing!!!
And there aren't many countries in Europe that are better to do that in than Germany. Which city? Pick and choose, any major city is a good choice. My choice was solely based on comfiness of flights, therefore Munich.
Germany once more: Oops! I missed my flight...
Not that I was slacking or anything like that. Actually not my fault at all, my flight from Cairo landed late in Frankfurt to catch the next one to Bergen, the usual business, next flight in 6 hours.

I've been driving round Norway 6 days
The last day of the journey, but probably one of the most impressive since I'm visiting two of Norway's most famous sights.
I've been driving round Norway 5 days
Now let me start by telling you that you won't hear much about Florø since there isn't much to say, it's just a small seaside town, cosy but that's about it. The fifth day was used to get from Florø to Ulsteinvik where my sister in law lives. Nothing much to say about Ulsteinvik either, it's just a small ship building town.

I've been driving round Norway 4 days
Too bad we woke up too late because that led us to get to Bergen to late for Urmita's train back to Asker. However we picked quite a pleasant pair of American hitchhikers on the way who left her a dollar :D
